I think I was first introduced to the idea of software-defined radio at What The Hack in 2005. Potentially a huge timesink. Oddly I've noticed an upswing in interest in radio gubbins generally. A couple of friends are after Ham licences, and a couple more are considering dusting theirs off.

I presume it can be no more than days before you'll be releasing albums of generative techno made from airliner telemetry.
