You are not the only one who has noticed that Gap's t-shirt weight has gone down. I switched to buying mens' Ts there at one point because the rot was not as bad there: the womens' Ts are practically seethrough now and barely last a couple of washes.

I sometimes check their sale for Edward, but otherwise they are a dead duck as far as I'm concerned.

I'm glad someone else does wonky t-shirt rotation. I can't comment on mass degradation - I have some many, and my ex-in-laws bought me workish ones so often, I've not bought any in about a decade.
