40s wedding dresses were brilliant - especially the wartime ones made of recycled materials e.g. bedsheets, parachute silk due to the ration. It was one of the reasons that I really liked Waity Katy's dress - it had a charming, pared-down Grace Kelly look to it.

I enjoyed the exhibition, and yes - the 80s dresses were wonderfully OMG!!!
