We had a 2CV once. On one memorable occasion, on cresting the top of the Ardnacrusha humpback bridge, the bonnet came loose in the wind, flew back, and folded itself around the windscreen. It met its end a year later when I was on driver duty as it was being towed home, got a bit absent minded, and turned the opposite way to the towing car, ripping out the front suspension.
