If that child has an unhealthy interest in jet engines later on in life it'll probably be your fault.

That's the plan.

Luckily there's a pristine SIIa to play with outside.

Spanners are a sore point with me at present. I've been scouring Halfords from top to bottom trying to find non-metric tools suitable for use on a non-pristine SIIa. (I have some suitable for a Mini, but Land Rovers have REALLY BIG NUTS).

Is it me, or has Halfords gone crap? If you don't drive a blinged-up 2007 Subaru Something-or-Other, there's practically nothing useful in there these days. Eventually I had to get me spare wheel off with a pipe wrench.

Talking of noisemakers of a certain vintage: you're mentioned, in close proximity to Steve Albini, in my own LJ...

With any luck, quercus and/or jarkman will be along in a moment to wave a Snap-On catalogue at you. The bastards.

Halfords remain the same as they've always been.

Yes. That sounds like Chicago.

Within a year, she'll be able to accompany you with a surprisingly accurate-sounding (although not necessarily rhythmic) performance of saucepans and spoons.
