I recommend the Brompton+Train combination for multi-modal transport. Thereby taking the bus crap out of the equation...

I'm dreading going back to work and enduring the busses again. I went back for 2 weeks before my operation and it was hell. I opted to start later thinking it would help, but it was worse as all the bus drivers were probably on tea break after the morning rush. Longest wait 1 1/2 hours for a bus that should be every 15 mins!
