The 100 NX has the tyre pressure sticker on the inside rear of the driver's doorframe, so that you can see it as you open the door and check the pressures as you get out on your way to the air pump ...

Possibly - this is my first Japanese car - before that I had a pair of VWs and a Fiesta. The bonnet release for the NX is in the more usual right-side of the driver's footwell location, and the boot/petrol cap release is along the inside of the sill.

Isn't that common on Japanese cars?

Our Mazda 323 certainly had the info in that same place.

Volvo 850 :
Passenger sun visor - make-up mirror.
Driver sun visor - blank.
Filler flap - tyre pressure sticker.

Lightweight Series II:
Passenger sun visor - no.
Driver sun visor - no.
Stencilled in inch-high white letters on the bodywork above each wheel - tyre pressures.

'sun visors'? What are these 'sun visors' to which you refer? The Elise does have tyre pressures in the manual. But there isn't a glove compartment...
