Dunno. I'm guessing Navy-surplus binoculars would be more likely eyewear. But more for the country living thing than the writing. Unless using a very, very long pencil.

Idea is good, but the M&S extra pocketed jacket does not however make you into the Duke of Beaufort.

You need the Hardy Amies variant from Hepworths. Not unheard of out there on Yabe.
