Talk about your wagon/paint the weather

Lord, but it's nice out.

I'm getting on because the months are steaming past at a frankly disturbing rate of knots.

Perhaps I should take a tent and go fester somewhere quietly, or cycle about Bristol in an exploratory manner.

(Or indeed go back and find this six months hence and realise I did bog-all again. Best not perform that action.)

Want to come camping in late July in Cornwall?

Is that still a Happening Deal, or is it in the realms of Nice Idea, But... ?

make the most of it, we've already had our two days of summer this year. Anything more is a bonus!

Is there much of Bristol left to explore? Though, I drove through the centre the other day, it looked completely different from last time I was there. That might be my memory though :/

Yes, there is. I've not really explored Clifton, for example. I look at it a bit like 'doing the knowlege'.

ahhh! Quick - go there now, there are tribes of piskies that stalk the streets - or so i've heard rumour! Cotham has some nice back areas too...

Yeah, Cotham's good for that sort of thing. At the expense of thinking 'Yes, I'd rather like to live there. Or there. Or... Bugger!'

What do you want to get done? Everything I'm striving for is either in progress, or a bit random (waiting for new gigsto do/new jobs to apply for to pop up); how can you hope to get Stuff(tm) done without a specific game plan?

Hm. That's a bastard of a question. The short answer is 'not waste the bright half of the year by mithering indoors when I could be out pottering'. The longer answer probably involves getting published, more writing anyway, doing a hacker-camp, building the mulcher, working out which car to keep, directed pottering w/friends (assuming I can find people who're into walking about and looking at things, rather than drinking and/or buying stuff. Which I can, it's just... Over-complicated), um, something else, perhaps not being skint most of the time.

Jason and I are always into walking about and looking at things. He'd probably be happy to go cycling with you too, but I'm afraid I'm not up to that level of activity yet. I'm hoping next year.

That would be sound. I still want to bike up & down the Gloucester & Sharpness canal, for instance.

Not related in any way whatsoever, but I saw this and thought it seemed very you.
