So this morning I slept way later than planned, mainly because I stayed up way later than planned. Oops! But I made a pleater board and cut out corset mockup #2. Then I had lunch, swung by my parents' place to pick up the tray for my sewing machine and my wee portable speaker (indispensable when sewing, doncha know), and went to get an eye exam so

During my corset course this summer, we were told to substract 2cm to all measurements that got around the body to draft the pattern, and work from the "constricted waist measurement (i.e. the farther you can comfortably tighten your measuring tape there). then substract the lacing gap from the back if you want one.
