I look back on this episode and I think, "Why am I even in this fandom?"

Seriously. What was the point of any of that?

More later. I'm off to watch some pre-series three Who and remind myself that there used to be a plot to this show.

I don't know. David Tennant did a fantastic job at the end, but the PLOT. WHAT PLOT? There were kittens! And crabs! Giant, freeway-dwelling crabs! Hymn-singing and groundless jealousy from Martha. Sigh. But there were some great character moments for the Doctor.

I've actually put off watching the episode. I used to not be able to wait for a new one, but S3's just making me queasy on a number of levels :(
