I just noticed something... (potential spoilers, if you're staying away from trailers and such like, and there'll probably be spoilers in the comments, too. Don't say I didn't warn you)

Is it just me, or does the date on the gravestone that flashes up at the end say born 1831?

I didn't have a chance to see the "died", but...

It does start with a two, but I don't know what the other numbers are. Then, it goes to 1930 and counts up. That's what I've seen anyway. Do you know where I can get the trailer, btw. So many people have been talking about it, but I haven't seen a link or anything.

Ooh, interesting!

I thought perhaps the trailer would be up on youtube or something, but I can't find it. I've only caught it, so far, on BBC1 after...uh, Neighbours *grin* and some other, slightly later programme I can't remember. It always seems to be on in the early afternoon, though, and in the same break as the DW trailer.

The trailer is here. The death date looks like an 1800 one, as well.

I'm pretty sure it says 1831, died 1881 but I can't make out the other dates. Sam does say to frank morgan " it's tyler" or something like that in the trailer, is he not sam tyler after all?

Never noticed that bit at the beginning but i will go back and look at the episodes i recorded to see now.

Damn, no idea what it means but that's the first time I've seen the trailer, so I'm just going to pause for a moment, before I go

Oh, GOD I can't wait until next Tuesday! it looks SO *GOOD!* I just hope that my heart isn't broken in the process lol.

Here from lifein1973, very intrigued! Do you reckon he took a dead man's name as an undercover-type-thing? That would be a title sequence clue, I guess: "My name is Sam Tyler", he tells us, maybe even that's not true. Oh so nervous! D:

Oooh, he could well have done! Maybe that would explain the whole..."my name is Tyler" thing in the trailer? It just seemed a bit odd to me, because he's always insisted upon people calling him Sam rather than DI Tyler or whatever. And it makes sense to take a name similar to your own...

*bounces around* Either way, I'm so excited!! I hope it ends well. It's been *so* brilliant; they can't let us down at the final hurdle.
