Happiness

I was going to start out this entry by saying how very tired I am, but then I realised all I seem to do on here is complain (how British), so, instead, I'm going to list all the good stuff about today :D ... even if I might fall asleep on the keyboard while doing so ( Read more... )

Ahh, I remember the English rain. When I went there the skies never decided if it wanted to shine or pour, or drizzle. Still, it didn't make my love England any less.

katrina87 Was the person who set up the friending meme. I hope you don't forget me! After all, I took my name from the town Penrith (Shire county: Cumbria, Region: North West), and Mere is an English place name for a broad lake. Distinctly British if I may say so. ~_^

Hehe, I didn't know that British were known for their complaining, I thought that was a more American attribute.

Good luck on your exam results. I'm sure you did well.

Something happy? I have two new baby sugar gliders:

Ooh! I have to say, I'm completely ignorant as to what a sugar glider actually IS, but oh my goodness it's cute! Looks like...a bat? Or a mouse?
...You wouldn't think I live in the countryside, would you?

Hm, perhaps complaining is common to all of us! :D

Ah, thanks for the name! I've a terrible memory for them, and this place sort of confuses me as it has so very many people. I'm certain I won't forget you, though, especially after the cool explanation! I like it :D

Best of luck for the interview; I hope it all goes well!

Hehehe, most people do not know what I am talking about when I mention sugar gliders. They are marsupials, and are more like a squirrel since they live in trees and have a long tail (not pictured).

So you live in the countryside? My experience of the UK was that London was the most populous city. Nothing like Orlando or Miami, which I am most familiar with.

Yeah, there are so many people on LJ; and it does get confusing. Where did your screen name come from? Does it have a meaning to anything?

As to the interview.... I am now an Assistant Manager of a retail chain/ chemist store! I can't wait to start!

Aww, cute! :D What have you called yours? They look adorable animals from the pic.

Mm, yeah. I'm over in Shropshire, which is apparently the most rural county of Britain. So lots of fields and horses and sheep! I love it. London is amazing, though I can't even begin to imagine somewhere as big as Orlando or Miami.

As to the screenname...oosh. I can't even remember, you know. I think it came from a lifelong obsession with bananas (DW is so my perfect fandom. *grin*) and a random word choice for "hippie". *shrugs* Not too interesting, I'm afraid!

Oh, congrats with the job!! That's so great! :D I'm sure you'll be brilliant!
