I've not been around for a couple of days due to icky electrical work (I swear, this house is falling apart), and then I had a ton of work to catch up on, but I'm back now and I'll try and catch up with you all!

On a random note, I just realised why pet names in DW fic (you know. Anything from the typical "sweetheart" through to the shudder-

Hi! I've missed seeing you pop up on the flist.

And yeah, pet names don't work in DW, IMHO. I think it's because neither the Doctor or Rose are ones to use them, really, so it doesn't make sense in fic. I think there was one fic I read that actually made something like that work, where people kept asking the Doctor about things he was getting, and who they were for, and he finally settles on sweetheart. But that's a bit different from pet names.

And you lucky lucky thing, getting to be that close to DT! If you manage to find some way to squeeze him into a bag, make sure you cut air holes. Or, take a couple of pictures, in case one or two don't turn out. :-)
