Centre Stage [2000].
Basically, this combines the things that I love the most: ballet and St. Berry. In fact, I finished 95% of this in one weekend, but then procrastinated

And you need to teach me how to blend.
Great job, Kash :D :D

Blending is ridic easy:
-Juxtapose one image over the other the way you want them to be.
-Go the Blend Modes part at the top of the Layer Palette, keep going through them all to see the ones that fit best with your chosen images. It works best if the lighter image is on top of the darker one.
-Adjust opacity.
-Duplicate the top image if you want to make it more visible.
-Mask away the excess.
-Adjust lighting/contrast with Curves or Levels. Add gradients, adjust colour, etc.
et voila!

It's like Glee filmed the ballet scenes just so you could mash it with center stage.
This is just amazing and it tells the story so well. Love love love it.
How do you do it?

considering that I worship the vid-making ground you walk on, I am so glad you like it
this vid is like the pinnacle of my progress chart since I have a cringe-worthy before version to compare it to :P

The parallels of the brunette dancer, Maureen, and Rachel blow my mind, okay? In the movie, Maureen is bulimic and her real mom is exacting just like Shelby is with her hypothetical daughter! And no one likes Maureen because she's stuck-up and convinced of her own technical superiority [which she has every right to be - just like Rachel]!
And the blonde guy, Cooper Nielson, is practically Jesse lol

Yes, I totally agree, the parallels are amazing in these two.
Now I feel like watching the movie again.

and the ironic part is even Glee forgot about the ballet sub-subplot in Rachel's life :o
WATCH IT. OMG WATCH IT AGAIN. The ending is so flawless - everyone from Cooper the douche to even the guy who broke his leg gets a happy ending. What movie has something like that? Even Disney movies end with someone dying or the hero getting shipped off back to England because of a fatal wound. Centre Stage is just plain speshul ♥_____♥
