The National are fucking ace. If you haven't heard Alligator I suggest you check it out. Brilliant record.

go see black mountain because them and dead meadow are supposed to be ace and wolf parade DEFINITELY ARE.
as for bob - just wing it. "oh, i'm not on the guestlist? well blah blah at blah blah records said he'd put me on. he said to find the tour manager if there was a problem.."
the young knives make amusing futureheads-style music with weird vocals and chubby band members. the national are another joy division-alike. gogol bordello are hilarious 'gypsy punk' and should be worth it really. and if you don't see marmaduke duke i'll have to string you up by your fingers.
