I don't know if I've ever mentioned that I love Labour Day - I'm talking about May Day, and not the American holiday - but it's always been my favourite holiday. I think it has to do with the teenage version of me romanticising the union movements, and I still really like the idea of an international workers' day. Of course, it helps that May Day ( Read more... )

Yes, labour day is great. You know what's also great? Four day weekends.

You're moving? Where to? (See, you don't keep me up to date on things :P)

I feel that in this case, they go hand-in-hand. ;)

I'm just moving across town. I've been subletting my cousin's flat for a year, and now she's suddenly back in Gothenburg, so a few weeks ago, I was desperately seeking a place to stay. Got offered a student flat - in my favourite part of the city - so I'm fairly happy. I grew up in the eastern part of Gothenburg, and now I'm moving to the western central part, which is something I've been wanting to do for years. This is a view of the part of the city I live in now; this is where I'm moving. Probably not a great difference if you haven't seen it in person, but I'll take picture the moment I've settled down in my new flat. The central-western parts of Gothenburg are pretty and picturesque.

Like I said to Raquel, there's not really much to tell. I'm moving from the [fairly central] eastern part of the city to the western central part, which is so ridiculously picturesque that I can't even describe it. Will take pictures once I've moved completely. I'm just glad I've found a new flat - moving back to either of my parents wasn't an option.

I love, love, love that scene. Most aesthetically pleasing scene in the history of TWW, I think.
