Hmmm.....

January: nothing I can think of

February: also non-eventful; stitched a falcon

March: both of my greyhounds died within a week of each other

April: I applied to be department chair in the next school year; bought a new car

May: I achieve department chair status; did my first framing job, it looked great!; picked up dog off street corner

June: 1 week in Greeley at an AP Stats conference; finished my first BAP cross stitch

July: son falls off bike and hits head; trip to ER for LOC

August: my son gets a ticket for vandalizing public property

September: my son spends time in a psychiatric hospital, we begin therapy; son goes to court for vandalizing

October: continued stress over child behavior; I spend hallow'een at the ER for chest pain; son starts terms of sentence

November: Thanksgiving with a much more enjoyable alpha male than the one who was here last year; son finishes up terms of sentence

December: mondo snow; let dog in house for extended periods and determined he's a good housedog; son starts inviting me into therapy sessions (yay!)

I had several good dates throughout the year with the same man, though I am unsure if I am interested in pursuing a relationship. Wait, llet me change that, I'm pretty darned sure I am uninterested in pursuing a Relationship(TM), but I do certainly enjoy this man's company on a very regular basis. A happy comaradery, as it were, and he is my #1 favorite date.

I had a busy year in cross stitch.

Goals for 2007:
- keep finances in good working order
- feel very competent as a teacher
- take a course in Native Alaskan Studies
- live, laugh, love, stitch, maybe sew

Happy New Year!
