It WAS pretty entertaining. Basically, Squall and Rinoa were having a moment, and Irvine and Selphie were spying, and Zell came over and was all "HEY GUYS WHAT'S UP" so they tackled him. And while they were busy shutting him up, Quistis came over to see what all the fuss was about and saw Squall and Rinoa and presumably was about to have an angst moment. It was quite funny.
