Indeed.
I just noticed someone who was using one of my icons without giving credit, after notifying them to do so, just changed their icon to another crappy one. Is giving credit really THAT hard? Its not like I'm asking them to castrate themselves. O.o

*sigh* agrees with you. I hate these kinds of things...it just makes posting things on the net less fun. I was just informed of a site hotlinking my pics...

Funny thing is, I never asked to be credited or anything, but shouldn't people have at least an ounce of common courtesy to ask first? Or is courtesy not common enough and very rare these days and age?

Yeah, it really got me miffed in the beginning when I found all these places posting them. Some with credit, some without. I don't particularly mind as well, but its the lack of common courtesy that bugs me. A simple "May I post your stuff here?" would suffice, but I suppose the anonymity of the internet makes everyone less conscientious than they should be.

Did you contact the site hotlinking your stuff? That's SO not cool and worse than simply no credit imo. >o< Not cool at all.

I did. And the site annoyed me cuz it's in Portuguese, which I am very rusty in...dammit. The pics they posted up were directly linked to my lj! Grrr...not cool.

Eh...I guess people are not as well mannered as they used to be... >.<
