I dunno if they hold up but Asterix and Tintin were the only comics at our school library. Tintin never did it for me but Asterix was the best thing ever.

You don't know what you're missing, Asterix is the best!
Try to get the British translations of Asterix (available in Canada) if you can as I understand the American translations are way dumbed down for kids.

Yeah.

When I was a kid I loved Asterix only slightly less than Tin Tin.

Overall it was funnier but Tin Tin had Captain Haddock.
