I should never have drank that juice without knowing what it was. It is not like Tezuka lives alone nowadays; there was ample opportunity for tampering.

Did I handle it badly after that? I genuinely believed that a play-by-play account of the entire evening would only cause you more discomfort. I did not wish to hand you a list of excuses.

I can see the cause of events ended in disaster, but it seems a particular event scalded you more than the others. Frankly, I am surprised there was much difference.
