The Beginning of the End
Raizen gave me the order to look for a country we hadn’t been in yet and live there for as long as he felt like. Mysterious that man was, that little bastard had two reasons behind it, which he never said out loud but in time I realized them: He wanted me to try being a normal teenager for once. Why? Because Dad wanted me to be happy like always so when he called I wouldn’t decline his orders, and the other reason was because he knew what or should I say who I was going to meet were I went. But that son of a bitch knew every thing! I remind you, I didn’t know that when I was 13 going on 16, Raizen had the ability to see into the future, you see I didn’t know until I was like 30 and he always told me weird stuff that could had change my life, well, that did actually.
Moving on, my companions and I decided that we were going to try our luck with Finland. I haven’t told you about the portals to Descub that are scattered around Earth. Now that I have, I’ll continue. Raizen gave me a house in the city of Helsinki that served as a guarding fortress on top of a portal. No one could come in or out unless I said so.
We lived in Helsinki for two months, when it was my sixteen birthday as a form of celebration, my companions decided that we would go out and buy porn. You may think its weird, but, me and my friends had gotten so used to each other that we didn’t seemed embarrass to watch porn together.
I’ll start giving more detail for some time now.
We went around the city for a couple of hours looking for a decent porn shop, if that really exists. We found something close. As we walked toward the door I kinda got nervous, not of the porn, but if the owner would sell it to us. Only Botan was over 21 and she didn’t look it. Before I entered the shop I had prepared myself to see a perverted person on the cash register (I was young! Can you blame me?), but once inside I was surprised to see a gorgeous young man reading a magazine. He looked up from it to stare at our small group with beautiful green eyes.
In Finnish he said: “Good Day, if you plan to buy something you must be over 21” At that moment I just wanted to know him. To be close to that seducing charm his aura emanated.
Kuwabara’s Finnish wasn’t very well, so he asked the youth if he knew English. Which he did, and the only thing he got from me was to send shivers down and up my spine for his deep husky accented voice. To get my mind out of him I started to look at porn movies. Hiei and Kuwabara soon joined me in search for a good one. Once we found some and a couple of other shit we gave them to Botany so she could pay for them because she had the age and the money.
“This is the first time I’ve seen something like this” Commented the green eyed youth, burring me deeper into his charm. He always was good with women.
“It’s a special occasion” Hiei told him with a smirk. For some reason the guy looked at me for some further answer, and marveled by his green orbs I gave it to him. I was so marveled that I almost didn’t notice that my heart betted.
“It’s my birthday”
His eyes went wide and in his face stretched a grin, trying to hold back a chuckle. “Interesting way to spend it” He said giving Botan the bag where he had just putted our stuff.
“She is an interesting girl my friend” Said Kurama. I shot him a death glare as the green eyed youth chuckled.
“Yeah and we just wanted to keep it simple, being in a new country and all. That’s why is only gonna be drinks and porn” Kuwabara joined in.
“Sounds like a party to me” Said the youth his accent thick.
I ventured to say: “Wanna join?”
He looked shocked for a moment, so did my companions but all recuperated quickly.
“That’s a great idea” Hiei said
The youth raised an eyebrow “Are you serious?” He asked me, and I nodded “Do you normally invite total strangers to you birthday parties?” He asked after staring at me for a moment.
I couldn’t hold it, I smiled and for the first time in my life I blushed, but I answered quickly. “You are not a total stranger, right guys” My companions finding what I was referring to, nodded in agreement. “You know that we are new in the country, that we are young, that today is my birthday, and what kind of porn movies we like.” I shrugged as I spoke “What else would you need to know?”
He stared at me for a long time, and then he smiled “How about you name, sweetheart?”
“Maria” I decided to have him know me by my real name, don’t know why. I extended my hand for him to shake and as he did I said: “And these are my brothers and sister of every thing except blood, Botan, Hiei, Kurama, and Kuwabara” I pointed to each.
The green eyed youth shook my friends’ hands after mine and said: “Nice to meet you, my name is Ville Valo”
If you don’t know who Ville Valo is then stop reading, go to Egypt, climb to the top of the Giza pyramid and throw yourself down the side. Because Ville is a very important part of my life and if you don’t know who he is you won’t understand things I may say later on.
That night was really fun. For security reasons Ville brought his two best friends Mikko ("Lilly Lazer") Lindstrom and Mikko ("Migé Amour") Heinrik. Lilly or Linde was shy a very quiet and he, Ville and Mige were embarrass seeing the movies with us, but once the beers started to make its effect the three got, well, honest. Ville and Mige told us everything they could remember from their lives. One of those details was that they had a band. They were trying to follow Black Sabbath but Ville wasn’t sure if he could be the singer.
