Very interesting read. You might be interested in reading the Big Bang Breakdown written by arabian, which can be found here: http://sp-bd.livejournal.com/

Sadly, arabian is no longer active in the fandom, and she stopped writing these wonderfully in-depth analyses after the third season ended. So there is very little discussion of Amy Farrah Fowler, but all of them delve into the progression of the Sheldon/Penny relationship. Well worth a read, especially for someone new-ish to the show.

What a nice way to incorporate the laws of physics and chemistry, Sheldon would approve. ;)

This article is refreshing; I've been missing the Sheldon/Penny dynamic for a while since one of Season 4's features was "Shamy" or the Sheldon/Amy relationship.

Anyway, I agree with your POV that Sheldon and Penny's relationship would feature new things happening every day. I think Penny and Sheldon bring out the best from each other. They argue but in the end Penny is there for Sheldon and vice versa.

Aww, I'm very glad you enjoyed it so much! ~ And yea, same here. But Season 4 still did have some great Sheldon/Penny moments. I especially loved when Penny was giving Sheldon acting lessons XD

And yea, because of the fact that they're so opposite, they're still getting used to each other, figuring out different things about each other, and always encounter such interesting and new situations together, we already see they have such a fun dynamic, and I don't think that'll ever change ;D As long as they're two opposite people having to be in the same place and trying to get along, it'll nevr be boring with those two.

lol, that's okay, I don't mind if you don't ship Sheldon/Penny XD Though surprising you don't see it *cries* lol jks. I guess we just have differrent tastes on this one. D:

I admit, The Big Bang Theory is my absolute favourite show right now, and Sheldon/Penny is my obssession. And I would go on and on about why I love them, but that would take too long XD

Really? I for one didn't see any chemistry b/w Leonard and Penny at all; I'm not even sure how or why it happened in the first place. Leonard and Penny's relationship to me, was purely based on sex, jealousy and shallow attributes, and there didn't seem to be any respect for each other there at all. Leonard always viewed Penny as the hot girl he had to have, and only wanteed to have sex with, while Penny, although apparently in a relationship with him, never treated him as such. They're much more pleasing to watch as friends, because at least they can respect each other more in that aspect ( ... )

As is your preference for Sheldon/Penny. Your opinion I respect that.

But like I said...I think Leonard with Penny was cute "while it lasted"...I didn't see them being a done deal or working out.

So while we have different reasons...we both basically agree that Leonard and Penny don't work out.
