*hears Rue's voice from his open window, stops from reading his book to look outside*

What... is that Rue? And she's-

*takes the only thing he can to defend Rue with- his book, and races outside to see Raven's pecking at her mercilessly*

*stands in front of Rue to begin swatting the Raven's away with the weighty book he had brought with him. He's ignoring any scratches he may be receiving, his thoughts right now are only on protecting Rue*

*Rue is surprised when Autor comes to her aid; she breathes his name both in fear and relief.* Autor! *Although she normally dislikes being helpless, she is too surprised by Autor shielding her to worry about it*

*The ravens caw angrilly at the intruder, clawing and pecking furiously at him as they try to get back to their original target, Rue. One of the larger ones even is able to claw into his arm and leave a deep wound there. At last, it seems the heavy weight of knowledge is enough to finally defeat the black birds, and one of the ravens, most likely a leader, leads the flock into a retreat, cawing loudly*

They're... They're gone... are you alright.. Rue? *Autor holds his arm where the gash lies, he finally realizes how weary he is now, dropping his ruined book to the side and sitting down to rest, he keeps his eyes on Rue to see if she's injured badly*

Mytho was about to kiss Ahiru again, and...well, his heart was pounding rather fast, and he wasn't really thinking about keeping me in at that moment. He had just been too nervously excited all day, so it was easy to take control, with a little patience.
