“Saa! Kyou wa hajimemasu,”
As the teacher started, Maya yawns slightly. It’s the first class today and Maya’s eyes are already half open. Only if he can eat his lollipops, but this sensei won’t let him. He holds his chin on hand and elbows on table, avoid sleeping. His glitter black hairclip sparkles when the morning light hits it, making the teacher flickers his eyes a little. Maya’s head almost touch the table when suddenly the door slid open after a knock.
“Sumimasen, sensei,”
Maya hears a deep firm voice but he didn’t look up when finally his head is on the table. Maybe just or some student council who will babble about whatever I don’t care. Maya sighed and started to fell asleep.
“Maya wake up, it’s break time already,” a brunette shook his shoulder lightly and the owner groaned. His back hurts sleeping like that. He rubbed his eyes and found the class half empty.
“What?*yawns*”
“Break time, buddy, c’mon, let’s eat!”
“Okay, Jun, but need to wash my face first…”
The brunette called Jun nodded as he moved letting Maya out of his seat. They are at the canteen after Maya washed his face. Maya has his usual lunch; chicken katsu, chocolate bread, milk, and banana yoghurt. Jun is looking on his lunch plainly; fried noodles, pudding, a carton of orange juice and mineral water. Jun glanced to the taller man’s lunch and wonders, how could he didn’t get fat although his lunch has a LOT of calories? Is he working out or something?
“Itadakimasu! Yum~ the katsu is niicee~~” Maya is tackling his katsu happily when someone hit his back hard making him spilled the katsu. Maya coughed as he grabs his milk and turned around eventually, finding a shorter man groaning in pain. Jun stopped his eating.
“Ouch! What on earth you think you’re doing?!” Maya rubbed his back as he faced the shorter man who had his black hair with some pink locks. He is sitting all four on the floor, looking down.
“Hey! I‘m talking to ya!”
“Ah, gomen ne…”
Maya felt his jaws open. The other student has a pale white skin, sharp nose, big eyes, and… beautiful. Maya froze and regretted his yelling earlier.
“N-No, oh, it’s okay! Can you stand up? Are you hurt?” Maya make the sudden friendly attitude. He offered his hand and saw him blushed. Is he blushing? No… he’s not Maya. He reached Maya’s hand and Maya pulled him slowly, helping him. After patting the dust away and checking is there any scar, he faced Maya, smiling shyly.
“Umm, thanks and sorry,”
“Yeah, no problem, no hurts?”
“No, I’m fine here, really, I’m sorry,”
“Nah, daijobu! Erm, can I continue eating?”
“Oh! Yes! I should get going too! Bye! Mata ne!”
Maya smiled as the shorter man disappeared between the crowds. Jun saved the scene and continues eating.
“Ah! My katsu!”

“Tadaima…” Maya said as he closed the apartment door, lollipops on mouth. “Ohairi, onii-chan!!” there comes the answer. It’s Mai, his thirteen year old little sister. Maya smiled as the cute figure approached in front of him. Mai is tall, just like him, has the black layered short hair, and glasses. She has those big eyes just like him too.
“Maya-nii! How’s your day? I’m making supper right now! Kaa-san will be home early today!” she squealed happily, spatula on hand.
“Ee? That’s unusual… hey! I smell something burnt!” Maya grinned as the girl widened her eyes. “Aa!! The curry!!” she runs towards the kitchen. Maya laughed watching his sister checking the pot. She turned back and pouted and narrowing her eyes. The blonde whistles like nothing happen. “Nii-chan it’s not BURNT!!”
Maya throws his bag and his body to the bed on his second floor room. Reaching his drawer where he keeps his lollys, he took one and unwrap it. He sighed and closed his eyes. That boy… what’s his name…? Maya remembered those beautiful orbs, his pale skin, his face…
Knock, knock…!
“Ara? Dare?”
“Nii-chan?”
“Come in, Mai…”
Mai appeared and closed the door. She walked as Maya sat up. She smiled and crawled to his brother.
“Ne, doushite, Mai? Still angry with me?” Maya patted the puffy hair and chuckled, the girl shook her head. “So, wassup?”
“I have a boy I like,”
“Oo? You’re asking for advice to me? You got the riiight person, Mai!” that earns a playful punch on the arm.
“I guess not!”
“Oh really~? Try to ask kaa-san then!”
“No!! Don’t tell her! You know she’s eviil! She won’t let me have a boyfriend!”
“Ahaha, promiise! So what’s the matter and how’s he looked like?”
Mai reached her cellphone on pants her pocket and showed Maya a picture. Maya widened his eyes.
“Okay, not bad… but how did you get his picture?!”
“Aa, secret! Wanna help me or not?”
“Huff, whatever, Mai, okay…”
“Umm, he’s shorter than me…”
“Hahaha!! Ironic!!”
“Ne!! Listen!!”
“Kay, kay, sorry~”
“It’s no problem for me, really, but I’m afraid if it’ll be HIS problem and---”
“OKAIRI~~”
They jumped a little. That’s their mother. She’s home.
“To be continued!” Mai said as she rushed down, greeting the woman. “Ohairi, kaa-san!”
“Ohairi,” Maya repeated when he reached the living room where his family gathered. Mrs. Yamazaki smiled to her son, and got the reply eventually.
“Kaa-san, how’s the curry?” Mai asked after putting the chopsticks down.
“My daughter sure is a great chef!” the mother chirped happily.
“Really, Mai, you’ll be a great wife!” Mai throws a death glare to Maya.
After finishing their supper, they went to each other’s activity. Maya and Mai went up to their own room, throwing some jokes that made their mom smiled. She’s been a single parent since Maya’s father died. Mrs. Yamazaki is so proud of the two.
Maya opened his text book, looking for the summary. There, and he writes it fast, not bothering his hand writing is kinda scattered. He’s so lazy tonight so he wants his work done as fast as possible. Huffing satisfied, he closed his books, preparing tomorrow’s schedule (no matter if he’ll be asleep again). Then his phone rang.
“Moshi-moshiii?” he said lazily. Then he heard a feminine giggle out there.
“Maya-kun?”
“Hmm, who’s speaking?”
“This is Kirihara Mitsuko, class 1-3,”
“Huh? Class 1-3 student? How did you get my number?”
“Hihi, its secret, Maya-kun! Umm, do you have a plan this Sunday?”
OMGEE, she’s asking for date! How’s she look like? What if she’s…?
“Don’t worry Maya-kun! I’ll send you my picture, ne~~ let’s just sending SMS!”

Maya sighed in confusion. How come a girl asking him out? What is he? Normal student! Not one of the pops there, in Natsuyori Gakuen. He’s out the class only for eating, then gazing at the roof with Jun. nothing else! How… his phone vibrates again.
“Hoo! Kawaii onna!!” Maya widened his eyes. Wow, that Kirihara girl is super cute! Maya grinned and texted the girl an acceptation and asked her to meet him at roof tomorrow.

“Woah, Maya! You’re not asleep!” Jun said after the teacher exited their class, class 1-1. Maya smirked playfully and Jun becomes more curious. “Hey! What happen! Don’t smirk like that!”
“Got a date with a kawaii girl,” Jun’s mouth opened. What!! His best friend is going to have a date?! After he’s broke by a girl he truly loved five months ago!! FOR THE FIRST TME ALL THIS TIME!! Wow! Is he got hit by something somewhere??
“A-are you… serious?!!” Jun hits the table making Maya jumped a little. Maya nodded and put the ‘Oh! I remembered something!’ face.
“Jun! She’ll meet me at the roof! C’mon!!” Maya grabbed the brunette’s hand (and his lollipops too) and rushed to the roof, not noticing that he passed the boy two days ago. The wind hits them as they walked to the not very crowdie roof. Maya dazed around. A girl with long black hair… long black… THE HELL! There’s a lot of them!!
“Maya-kun?”
The best friends turned around. There she is! Standing with another girl, swaying her leg shyly.
“Un, Kirihara?”
“Hai, dozo!” she bowed and smiled. Maya nodded a little.
“Let’s eat! I made a bento for you!” she handed a box to Maya.
You’ll find two boys and two girls chatting and eating their lunch at the roof corner. They laughed and be friends easily. Maya found himself sometimes glancing to her… chest. (OMFG! Maya has a dirty mind!)
“Maya-kun, how’s the bento?”
“Hm, hm… nice… what if you add some more nori next time?”
“Okay! Got it!”
Maya smiled again as he dazed through the roof and catch a glimpse of familiar boy. Wait! It’s… the boy who hit him at the canteen two days ago! Maya’s legs was like moving by itself, he’s running to that boy like he’ll be disappear if he’s not approached him right then.
“Oi!” Maya called. The boy… yes! He is! Maya remembered those pretty orbs he’s fallen for. Wait-he WHAT!?! But he didn’t hear him. He runs to the door instead. “WAIT!” too late, he’s gone.
“Maya! What’s wrong?” Jun approached him, panting as well.
“Iie, nothing.”

Same words every morning. The teacher started today’s lesson and de ja vu. Maya’s being sleepy again, and the door slid open. But Maya’s head haven’t touched the table yet. He widened his eyes to the creature that has just entered his class. It’s HIM!!
“Um, sorry interrupting the lesson but I have some announcement…” he spoke. Not interrupting, you’re saving us! Maya said.
“The student council has discussed this with the school committee and we decided to take charity for those who can’t study like us…” he flipped through the paper he held. “We will take charity minimum 50 yen per student once a week, every Thursday…”
There comes a pause…
“Okay!” Maya shouted as everyone looked at him. He placed a grin. Actually, he’s trying to get the student council’s attention but it turned to everyone’s glare.
“Uhm, okay… please choose one volunteer to be this class’ commission,”
“Ahem, can I choose one?” the forgotten teacher spoke.
“Yes, please sensei…”
He pointed to Maya who has that innocent-dumb-stupid face with a half mouth opened. His classmates burst into laugh and the student council chuckled a bit. That relieved Maya somehow… and his heart beats faster.
“Okay… can I take him with me sensei?”
“Yes, go ahead, I’m going to continue…”
“Arigato gozaimasu,” he bowed and signaling Maya to follow him.
Maya grinned as he heard his boy classmates murmured like “Shit, he’s escaping the class officially!” “Damn that Mr. Fuwaka!” or “Arrg,” he darted his tongue and left.
