Readercon, LoC sum-up and other news

Well, Readercon was really good this year. I got to participate on several panels, including serving as moderator on The Year's Best Short Fiction with David Hartwell, Tom Purdom, and Ellen Datlow (I know, no pressure, eh?). I also had the opportunity to meet and chat with the legendary Barry Malzberg and his lovely wife, which was a real honor.

I just "met" you over at Helium.com. From there I went to SpaceandTimemagazine.com and from there to here. I'm always amazed at what I can find via links. Congrats on the 75 rank for the mag.

ReaderCon sounds like a fun place to be. Are they ever held in Florida? (Don't know anything about posting/linking pics, sorry!)

Hi, Starr, nice to virtually meet you! I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to respond - end of summer insanity kept me offline. As Magid already noted, Readercon itself is only held in Massachusetts (Burlington, for the foreseeable future). However, there are a lot of great conventions all over the country. Just Google "science fiction conventions" and you'll get to some nice, complete lists. If I'm on the guest list, feel free to come up and say, "hi!"

(And the HTML around photo linkage if you want the photo itself to show up is img src, and there's a primer about using image HTML here. If what you want is a link to the photos, it's the usual a href HTML that links to whatever other place.)
