Ok, two things that people say/do that ever-so-slightly irk me.

1) People who use the word "literally" wrong. "My head LITERALLY exploded". "I LITERALLY shit my pants". "I was literally scared to death" Uhm. No. You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

I thought GPS stood for Global Positioning Satilite.

Therefor GPS system would be kosher.

why is the world so stupid?

I do, on occasion, use "literally" completely wrong... mostly for dramatic emphasis or exaggeration... so I can't get too pissy about that one. but when people just don't have enough education to be able to use words properly, they should just be shot.

I totally agree!

Working in PA I've come across a couple of more language issues that bug me.

"Do you want to come with?" - come where? with who?

And they mix up the words leave and let "Let me alone." and "Leave it lie."

It makes me crazy!

How bout the word, "irregardless?" Is that the opposite of regardless, so you must have regard for it? I'm so confused...
