I need some advice.

Financially, I know that it probably is, but if I do it, am I abandoning my dreams? I still really want to go to George Washington. I want to leave Arizona. it's a hard decision. what's scary is that it's hard to do the 'what ifs' until the acceptance is in front of you and you have to make the decision....

Normally I don't much like to give out advice, because I feel like I'm sort of relaying the same information to people... but I know exactly how you feel ( ... )

Is this an opportunity that will only be available in January? It sounds like you'd be the one disappointed if you didn't go to GW. It would be so good for you to live in a big city and go to an excellent grad school. Tempe will always be here for you--consider it your safety.

You know we would all love it if you stayed, but we'll still love you and still be there for you if you leave. I mean, hello...e-mail, myspace, LJ, AIM, cell phones. We'll never be that far away from you. I know you'd planned on just doing general grad classes here next semester and then going away, so you still have that option.

You haven't gotten your acceptance letters yet (at least you haven't told me you did...) so things could change for you really quick. You could not get into GW, or you could and then decide that you're happy in the ASU program. take it all as it comes.

I mean, look at me. I was so sure that I wanted to be a Graphic Designer more than anything, now, I've completely changed my goal. I want to teach. Things can change drastically.

Don't get too set on one place, cause you never know what will happen.

hope this made sense...
