Though it's a movie that's often criticized I personally like it quite a lot- the costumes and sets are very well done and beautiful, there's a really brilliant cast, and of course the main idea of the plot is just... Alan Moore being brilliant. Of course there are faults to the movie but I found it overall to be quite entertaining and is one of my personal favorites.
Also, even if the rest of the movie was shit, JASON is incredible in this. It really shows off his duality as an actor. I've recommended this movie to a friend who watched Dr.Finlay's Casebooks and her response to it to me was, "The movie was so-so... but Jason was AMAZING. He's officially won me over as a fan."
