[Sup Luceti. Here's Ace on the journals again, a smile on his face.] Guess even the Malnosso have some Christmas spirit in them, huh? Wouldn't have expected that from 'em. Though, they could tone it down a bit on the lights... [He chuckles a little and turns back to the journal.]

Anyone wanna see a nice light show, though? [He places the journal at ( Read more... )

What does this holiday entail? Apart from blindingly bright lights.

Christmas? It's a day where you give loved ones gifts to show you care for them. It's kind of like a birthday, but everyone gets gifts. They're supposed to go under a Christmas tree, which is usually decorated with ornaments and lights. Though, not quite as blinding as these ones.

The lights and decorations are kind of extra.

…Gifts? For everyone? [Pause.] You mentioned loved ones. What about people that are unloved?

[Dryly.] The excessive lighting is inefficient usage of energy.

What is the source of your displayed ability? [It looked like a technique of some sort.]

People close to you! Like friends and family. People you don't like, though? Well....if you don't want to get 'em a gift, you don't have to. [Says the pirate.]

Yeah, the Malnosso kinda went overboard with the lights.

Hm? Oh, you mean my fire? [He grins.]I'm a fire human.

You're hosting a fire show and didn't invite me? Should I be offended?

[He's kidding of course and grinning ear to ear.]

[TROLOLOL.]

[Hops down from the rooftop. Yes, this is action. Shhh.]

You know, you're not supposed to remember stuff from when you're a baby. [Flicks a freckled nose.] Brat.

[Goootcha. A bit annoyed at the flick, but he just keeps smirking.]

So, I guess I shouldn't remember your turkey impression either?

[What an interesting sight awaits Sanji as he walks back home. No need to wonder who the culprit is. The chef gives his eyes a good-natured roll, meeting Ace when he's at the tail-end of his show]

Not bad, show-off.

[He turns to face him, but just grins. With little difficulty, he makes flames form in the shape of Sanji. Yes, he is a show-off.]

Thanks.

[... Alright, so it's impressive; he still settles on an indifferent arch of his brow.]

I think I like the genuine article better.

[A light smirk, and he makes one in the form of a certain navigator.]

I'd have to agree, but this is just fun.

[It's pretty hard not to miss a light display on the way back home from the teashop. it's a lot harder to miss a fire show, though. Miyabi blinks and watches with amazement, the fire reflected in her eyes. it was a little sad, seeing the flames only in black and white (sadder still how people kept chirping over the colored lights), but just the way this man is becoming fire is...wow. And the shapes, too.

Hm. Maybe...

Setting down the box of natural herbs and teabags she got from the teashop, Miyabi removes her sword from its holster at her side. She doesn't draw the blade. Oh, no....she just needs Sumomo's brush tip to play with those flames. From Ace's flaming arm Miyabi draws a line of ink, twirling and spinning the line in the air to make a star. That ink will ignite, and burn brightly next to his, much better, "work".]

You're very good.

[A grin, as she approaches, looking a little heated. Ah...she's never been good with the Inferno skill. It's really tasking achieving even that much.]

[he stops for a few moments to really take in what she's doing. mkaing fire....from a sword. Okay, that's kinda new.]

You're rather good yourself.

[He continued making flame shapes for her to do improv on. Hell, this was a lot of fun!]

[If Ace has a good eye, he'll see the calligraphy brush situated on top of the young girl's sword hilt. It's not the sword, but the brush making miracle. Miyabi is a painter first and foremost, anything else is secondary.]

Eh...I'm just practicing.

[Which is very true. She hadn't practiced with Moegami's skill in a while. it definitely showed, too. The second "painting" she makes with fire (all while drawing from Ace's flames first) is a little choppier. It's a blossom, cherry blossom, and it dies a lot faster than the first. It's also leaving her a little flustered and breathless.]

You're much better than I am, sir.

[He glances at it again, and gets a good look at it.] Oh, there's a brush on the tip. No wonder, I thought you were painting with your sword.

[He stops for a moment to applaud her.] Hey, you're trying, right? That counts. [He smiles back.] Thank you, but I wouldn't say I'm that good.
