Summary: Ryosuke and Daiki are twins, fraternal twins with similarities that even their parents could not identify them from one another sometimes. They were invited by Takaki Yuya, Ryosuke’s boyfriend, to a party, specifically a birthday party where everyone will enjoy a lot. But Takaki got drunk and mistaken Daiki as Ryosuke. It wasn’t done purposively but because of that the twins started to battle with each other, making it difficult for Takaki to decide if to whom he should spend the rest of his life with.

CHAPTER LINKS HERE~ “It’s good…” the doctor said while showing Daiki the film of his repeat x-ray examination. It shows no more breakage on the latter’s bone and there’s a good sign of healing on the muscles and affected flesh. “I can now take off the cast for you but make sure not to overdo it yet…” he said while warning Daiki with his finger.
Daiki nodded in return but he’s not that happy to hear the news even it is something to be celebrated already. It’s been a month since Yuya promised something at him but until now that promise never happened. Yes, he can wait. He can wait as much as Yuya wants but waiting for too long is too absurd already. Why is there a need for him to suffer even more if Yuya could just break up with Ryosuke anytime of the day? “Why is it like that Doctor?...” he suddenly asked. “Why breaking up a bone is just too fast that it can only happen in a snap and putting them up together is too long that I have to wait for a month until everything completely heals but why when someone is in a fake relationship, he needs more time to break up with his partner than to make up in order to make his lover believe that he is truly true to his feelings?...”
“What?...” the Doctor is of course confused if what the hell was that question. He’d been in his expertise for too long and this is the only first time that someone had asked him something like that. It’s not that he can’t answer it but being asked randomly like that is kind of confusing. “Are you asking me about love?...”
“No…” Daiki shook a head. “I’m asking you why breaking up a bone is not as fast as breaking up a relationship?...”
“Maybe because…” he doesn’t want to answer it but since Daiki appears too serious about it, he doesn’t want to disappoint the boy by giving a silent response in return. “… being emotionally hurt is not as painful as physical hurt…”
“Could that mean something deeper?...” he probed curiously.
“I don’t understand your question exactly …” he scratched his nape. “Why don’t you go straight to the point Daiki…”
“I’m wondering if feelings could be developed even if that someone fully understands that he’s doing it in a fake way…”
“Maybe…” the Doctor shrugged a shoulder. “After all it always happens on dramas. Boy meets girl and he will play with her feelings and eventually flipped. She will say she hates him and he will say he loves her and in the end they will still live happily ever after…”
“NO!...” he protested hysterically. He stood up with his fist slamming the table and with his foot stomping the floor. The doctor was of course surprised to see him acting like that but he doesn’t care. He may look so childish or stupid or whatever but there’s no way he will allow that to happen. He had worked so hard already to have the guy he could only love for the rest of his life and Ryosuke will just take it away again? No way! “I’m leaving…” he said as he turned his back hastily from the doctor.
“But I have to take your cast off first…”
“I’ll just take this off myself…”
“It won’t be that easy!...”
“I don’t care!...”
“What’s with the gloomy face?...” Kei asked his cousin while watching the latter sighing again and again while walking lazily beside him. “Did something happened?...”
“I’m too tired Kei…” he brushed his nose and then he scratched his head. “Why can’t I do things right recently?...”
“What do you mean?...”
“Ryosuke is a nosy whiner. He keeps on turning my mood terribly bad lately but I can’t ignore him...”
“That is because he’s your boyfriend…” he stated the obvious and Yuya gloomily frowned at him. “Having trouble with the twins?...”
“You don’t have to say it. I’m already in trouble ever since I decided to put myself into this crap…”
“Why don’t you just break up with him?...”
“I can’t…”
“Why?...”
“I don’t know…”
“You don’t know?...” Kei is quite annoyed to that. It’s been a month already since he never saw the smile that Daiki had given off when they were at the flower shop. And it’s been a month as well since he never saw that lively attitude at Daiki. At first he thought it won’t last too long because Yuya had finally confesses his feelings but he’s wrong, Daiki actually suffers even more because Yuya is too undecided to break up with Ryosuke. “You should know what you truly feels because you’re hurting Daiki already!...”
“I know but Ryosuke is a part of him which I can’t hurt at all…”
“A part of him?!...” that makes him even more annoyed. “Which of the two did you really love Yuya?...”
“Daiki…”
“Which of the two are you willing to spend the rest of your life with?...”
“Daiki…”
“Then break up with Ryosuke!...”
“Why are you so angry?!...” he spats back. Kei’s nosy and angry attitude got into his nerves. “This is not your problem so stop sticking up your nose with my business!...”
“Daiki is my friend!...” Kei argued. “I know exactly what he feels and I understand how difficult everything is for him right now!...”
“That is because you keep on dwelling with your past! You keep on putting yourself in his shoes! And you keep on seeing yourself in him!...”
“Then tell me!...” he grabbed his cousin to face him head on. “Will you hurt him just like how that idiot had hurt me?...”
“NO!...”
“Then break up with Ryosuke!...” he demanded angrily. “Break up with him before Daiki cries more than what you can imagine. But if you think there’s something going on in here already…” he pointed at Yuya’s chest. “Better not to play with Ryosuke anymore and leave this place at once before you can destroy either of them emotionally or mentally!...”
“What?!...” Ryosuke almost scratched the paper out the bulletin board after seeing his name with Daiki’s name on it as well being bracketed as tie on the first spot of the ranking system. “There must be some mistake! There’s no way he could reach this spot!...”
“Don’t get too full of yourself Ryosuke…” the teacher said who happens to see Ryosuke grumbling angrily at the bulletin board. “Daiki did really good this semester and he deserves to be on that spot…”
“But my grades are better than him! There’s no way we could be tie!...”
“Why don’t you just accept it?...” said by the teacher while patting Ryosuke on the head. “You should be happy for Daiki because he’s doing really great. If this continues, he might be able to enter university and most probably be a scholar as well just like what is expected from you…”
“He will never be like me…” he glared evilly. “I will just believe your words if his name is already on top of my name with a very big difference in between it…”
“Yuya…” Daiki grabbed the guy at once to come with him before anyone could see them talking. Yuya on the other hand had a surprised hidden behind his back. It’s a paper rolled neatly like a diploma with a red ribbon tied on it beautifully. “Can you be true to me?...” he asked right away when he found the right place for them to talk with no spy or nosy people to listen on their private talk.
“I’m always true to you but before that…” he showed the surprised he had on his back and with no delay he handed it to Daiki. “Open this first...”
“Mine is more important. I’ll just open that later…” he shoved the rolled paper out of his sight and instantly he asked, “Do you like Ryosuke?...”
That makes Yuya’s mouth open at once with no words coming out from it.
“Yuya!...” he slapped the guy on the arm and Yuya jolted in return. “Do you like Ryosuke!...” he asked for it again and this time Yuya eyed him seriously. “Answer me!...”
“What will you do if I say yes?...” he doesn’t mean to ask something like that but he can’t answer Daiki’s question straightly. There’s a part of him that will tell a lie if he’ll say no because Kei is right, there’s something going on inside his chest already which he can’t figure out for now.
“I will die!...” he cried. “I will die so please tell me you don’t love him!...”
Pressure, that’s what he had in mind right away. For the first time he finally had the complete picture of what pressure could truly mean. It’s not like kicking a soccer ball in the field to goal or shooting a ball on the ring before the buzzer beat but something more than that, something that will definitely take long before he could courageously face. “Daiki…” he pulled the boy on his arms and Daiki swiftly embraces back. “Why don’t we open this paper first?...” he showed the surprised that Daiki refuses to see first and gladly the boy nodded back on his chest. “Look…” he asked the latter to check on it and when Daiki finally found the surprise written inside it, he saw what Kei had said before… Daiki did cry more than what he can imagine. It’s a terrible cry which is full of pain and hurt. “Aren’t you happy? You are now finally on the same spot as him?...”
“How could I be happy if that could also mean the same on your heart?...” Daiki asked. “I’ll rather be back to what I am before than to share on something that can’t be shared forever…”
