Help me decide!

It's Eid soon and I'm not sure what to gift my sisters-in-law. I have bought plates which I'm planning to fill with either meringues (which they can eat with whipped cream and fresh fruit) or an awesome almond and nougat cake, and wrap in cellophane. (I always give them foodie gifts.)

Cakes are yummy!.. But so are meringues with whipped cream. I wish I was less indecisive. ;___;

I'm voting meringues, simply because I don't like almonds XD

Yay for meringues!

So did I until a couple of years ago. Now I'm all "But almonds are so versatile! And tasty! Yays for almonds! \:D/!"

I am so so so late for this one, and realised, I actually voted this whole thing into a tie. Lololol which wouldn't even matter since... I am so late anyway.

How is Eid going for you so far? We don't really do anything here... unless it's someone in the family who is doing the whole pilgrimmage.

You are here at least XD! I had to start baking Sunday and I think it was a tie last time I checked then as well, so it's ok :D. Obviously my collective flist is as indecisive as I am.

It's ok. There's no official holiday here of course so life goes on as usual and people work and go to school and whatnot, which takes away from the spirit. But it's fun as well! I got a shiny new cookbook, a pair of cozy slippers and lots of money :P and managed to make people smile with my gifts in return!
