The same thing happened to my phone a few weeks ago. Take it to the Sprint store and they'll have a new one for you in three days, free of charge since screens have a lifetime warranty. If you wanna go ahead and write your phoneook down, what you can do is go ahead and take out the battery and put it back in. You'll have your screen functional for a few minutes (or at least 'til you flip it back down). If you don't feel like doing that, they'll print out your phonebook when you get your new phone.

Sprint should be able to transfer your old phone book to your new phone (assuming you get one). At least that is what they have always done for me.

They tried doing that for mine, but for some reason they couldn't transfer it, so they ended up just printing it out.

tehy said that my phone was so jacked that they couldn't transfer it, or get it to print out. so i guess bad luck ticked up to 340.
