‘You just got whupped by a nurture demon,’ he says, bounce in his step as he approaches them. ‘I can’t not love that.’

Angel rounds on him. ‘You wanna have a go?’

‘Nope. Perfectly happy to see you get squashed, thanks.’

You mean like when YOU got YOUR ass kicked in an elevator by a wee little puppet man? Is that what you meant, Spikey?

*cackles* I LOVE THIS. I really, really want to see Cuddy calling House and he and Wilson wondering where the hell she is and what the hell she's been doing.

That and did you ever go to my journal? The drabble+-a-thon is up. Hopefully, you'll participate?

Spike is so arrogant. *g* Gotta love him. Haha! The puppet! Oh, brilliance. Joss should marry me.

I did check that out! Pretty awesome :) I will try to participate, but I've still got two cuddy_fest fics that I need to finish, as well as a couple of my own bunnies to feed. But I'll definitely try to get around to it. *g*

Glad you're still liking it!

This was a lot of fun and everyone's well in character. *thinks happy, nostalgic Angel thoughts* I liked Spike's embarrassment over making Nazi jokes.

I'm on such an Angel/Buffy kick right now. My brain won't stop meshing fandom universes. *g*

Thank you for the comment. I'm glad you liked it. :)

Another great post! Loved this:

The girl’s a Jewish nurture demon, she’s probably got a guilt complex the size of Mount Everest

It wouldn't be a Cuddy centered story without the guilt, especially how we are finding out how she couldn't help her family and House. I really like how Spike is protective over her by nudging Angel in the right direction. It also made me smile envisioning CrouchingTiger Cuddy.

The best line:

It’s enough.

I'm interested to see if Cuddy can get stronger to help House, but to me, it doesn't matter. You have their relationship so spot on that I like how they are in the present. Yes, House would be in less pain, but I like that they are so true to each other just in that scene where she's cooking. So great!

Can I suggest a correction? You wrote House saying:

‘They guy lived, didn’t he?’

Did you mean "The"? Other than that, everything else was wonderful. Thanks!

I don't know why, but I see Angel as being more mission!oriented, and Spike as being a 'whole picture' kinda guy. ^^

I'm glad you liked the House/Cuddy scene. (I think) I would love to see them try a relationship outside the hospital. All that fodder for cute snarky/domestic scenes... Tasty.

Oh, doy! Thank you for the correction. I'll go fix that now. :)
