Hmm, it got me thinking. If Cuddy had a kid in the show, would House get jealous? Or maybe afraid of the change? Interesting thought... But he was very in-character in this, I liked that. :D
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it, and thought House was in-character. He's hard to write, especially in emotional situations.
That is an interesting thought.... I think he would get a little jealous, just because she'd be spending more time devoted to the child, instead of her attention focused on him. *laughs* He's such a spoiled brat. *g* It'd be so awesome to see what they could do with it on the show... I really hope they don't drop the baby!arc.
Oh, how truly lovely this was, Cuddy's cautious hope and fears, and House's subtle concern and support. I think I even held my breath a couple times. And this line was just something else :
she just doesn't understand how something she wants so badly doesn't want her
I'm just so utterly fascinated by the idea of Cuddy as a mother, or trying to become a mother. I so hope they don't completely drop that story line in the coming season(s).
Thank you very much for the comment :) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The "please stay" may have made me tear up, just a little. But this was absolutely gorgeous. ♥
