I was holding my breath, terrified she was going to shake the baby or do something totally irrational.

OMG, I felt the exact same way. They did such a good job with the suspense in that scene.

I think that if this was a truly ensemble show, they could have pulled off stretching out this bonding story for a few episodes, but as everything is truly about House, eventually things must come back to him. They finished it up before people could get really sick of it.

I really cannot wait for next week. I'm somewhat spoiler-free, but I've heard good things, at least about House/Cuddy dealing with... let's just call it fall-out.

I thought they did too. And Lisa. Damn.

I know, right? *sigh* I like House, don't get me wrong, but, I don't understand - they've created such wonderful ensemble members, why oh WHY don't they use them more? I love Cuddy more than anything, so obviously I'm biased and want waaaay more Cuddy, but. I could totally go for a Chase/Cam themed ep, or some Kutner or Taub backstory! Preferably that House isn't digging his nose into, to yet again make it about him.

I'm asking too much, aren't I?

I'm totally spoiler free. I've watched the preview, but on mute, so I have no idea what's going on. Shhhhhhh! ;)

On a show called House? Slightly. :) But I know what you mean. I'd love to know more about our side characters, especially Cuddy.

I loved the outfit! (And totally wish I could pull it off as well.) It just didn't strike me as being Cuddyesque, for some reason.

I know a couple people that didn't like the way Cuddy or Cameron were portrayed, though I'm not entirely clear on why. I've actually been enjoying this season a LOT. They've been slacking a bit on their medical plotlines in order to make them coincide with the characters' plotlines (Joy? LTEC? WTF.) But. The acting (LISA) has been wonderful and I haven't been cringing too much! So I take that as a good sign. :)

I agree - it felt a little more Edelstein than Cuddy.
