Bolting down the corridor, Marcy ran straight for Lizzy's desk. She wanted to talk to the girl and tell her all about Folly over a bite to eat seeing as how they'd both be off from work within minutes. Once Marcy got there and she'd caught her breath though, she smiled at Lizzy.
"Are you off yet?" she asked excitedly, trying to contain herself. It was hard seeing as how Marcy had yet to tell Lizzy about her latest discovery and she wanted to get out of work already.
Marcy didn't know why it made her so happy to share Folly with Lizzy. Perhaps it was because he was such a nice guy and a real sweetheart? Or maybe because the thrill of getting caught one of these days was really starting to get to her? What ever it was, her latest mistake was something to talk about even if it wouldn't be very easy to explain to Lizzy.
Lizzy beamed once Marcy made it to her desk and immediately looked around. No other beady tattle telling eyes, no supervisor, no one to stop her! She was in the clear.
"Now I am. Come on," she said quickly, grabbing her cloak off her chair and dashing out behind the desk before anyone could grab her to say no. And with a quick tug, she pulled Marcy with her, laughing as her supervisor started to yell after her about skivving off a few minutes early.
Slowing down, Lizzy looped her arm through Marcy's and turned to look at her friend. "Where to? And what's got you in a tizzy? How about dinner? I'm famished, even a hippogriff sounds good right now."
Marcy laughed a little at Lizzy's eagerness to get out of work. Sure, she knew sitting behind a boring desk all day couldn't be very fun but... oh bother, Marcy didn't care at this point! She wanted to talk to Lizzy and get a bite to eat!
Catching up, Marcy looped her arm through Lizzy's as well as they walked down out into muggle London. "Dinner," Marcy said, rubbing her stomache with her hands. "You'll find out what's got me 'in a tizzy' once we get some food," she said, turning a corner and pulling Lizzy with her.
"You remember a couple months ago that Cursebreaker who kept coming into the ward, visiting his father who was attacked and put into a coma?" Might as well start from the beginning if she was going to start at all!
Lizzy groaned playfully as Marcy pulled her along, "You really know how to peak someone's interest, did you know that? It's not fair to not tell me!" All for the fun of it because she knew soon enough it would come spilling out of her.
Which made her that much more excited when she started talking.
"Faolon!" Lizzy said, remembering the shy man and nodding, before pulling Marcy to cross the street with her. "Yes, so??" It hadn't connected in her mind just yet but soon enough it would. At any rate she wanted to hear a great story and she was sure that this was going to be fabulous.

After all it had Marcy in a twist.
