Lexi could never quite understand why using a floo was so popular. IT WAS RUBBISH! How splitting yourself into little millions of particles, and then being tossed back together ever become popular, she wouldn't very quite get. Of course, until she could apparate, this was the quickest option... it just wasn't a FUN one!

With a splat and explosion of greenish dust, Lexi landed on the floor of Esme's house, coughing from the soot cloud floating around her. "Err... morning!" she called out with a sheepish smile, spotting her friend after some of the dust had settled.

She also never got a hang of the landing.

Esme wasn't so good at good landings either so she could readily sympathise when Lexi came flying out of the Floo. Reaching out to help her friend up she impulsively hugged her - it was just so good to see her after so long! Suddenly realising that they were now both covered in soot, Esme burst out laughing and fished around for her wand.

"Lexi! Good morning to you too!" she called back cheerfully. "Hang on a minute and I'll get us cleaned up so we look slightly less like matching chimney sweeps!"
