Jake turned up his collar as he walked down the street toward the small pub that led into Diagon Alley. He was headed to Gringotts, as he was running low on money, and needed to get some more out of his accout.
As he entered the pub, he recalled the Daily Prophet headline he had read that morning. Two dead. At Hogwarts. One of them? Chamberlayne. A fellow Death Eater. The other? A student. The whole thing was fishy. Something wasn't right, and he wanted to know what it was. Hopefully, he would soon enough.
Before he knew it, he was at the stone wall. He took out his wand and tapped the required bricks, and stepped into Diagon Alley.
