Ice Cream

Jaci moved slowly as she walked across the lawn, a bowl of pink grasped carefully in each of her hands. The pudding of the day was ice cream, which immediately brought to mind the older Slytherin boy she'd met during lunch a couple of weeks back. They'd both stated that ice cream was something theyliked, and had later agreed to have some together one day. Jaci'd thought about it since, but she had no idea how to go about getting it on her own. When it appeared on the table, she didn't waste a moment's time before grabbing two bowls full of strawberry ice cream and two spoons, then darting out of the Great Hall. She hoped no one had noticed, but wasn't concerned about it enough to return. Not yet, anyway.
Her first thought was that Will would be where she'd seen him last, in the courtyard. She went there first and looked around, but there was no sign of him, not even in the dark corner that was surrounded by trees. There was a path across the lawn, leading out to the lake, so she walked along it. Her gaze shifted from one side of the path to the next while she walked, hoping to catch a glimpse of the boy she was looking for.
