No, he was bloody pleased to be a member of the FUKD. It filled his heart with joy. Really, heart-swell.
This, however, was not evident in his actions as he strolled into the room, gave the empty space an appraising look and let his eyes stop on Rae. Immediately, his look went to one of sick amusement. "Oh, pardon me," he announced cooly, bowing just so. "I thought this was where the FUKD meeting was being held, not some... Pitiful Female Slytherin Tea Party."
Looking around the door-frame, Mae peeked into the room that the meeting was supposed to be in. She'd never been to one yet this year or last year and ... well, she didn't want to barge in on a couple teens getting it on and completely embarrass herself or anything like that. Once she saw Rae and a couple others in there though, Mae pushed the door open just enough to slip in and slowly made her way over to an empty space near some of the older years she knew, like Lissi.
Amabel was actually scared out of her mind to be here. These were the children of Death Eaters. She was the child of a long line of Gryffindors and a muggleborn. How would the Dark Lord ever accept her into his elite circle of Death Eaters? Better yet, how would her family ever look at her the same? This was bad. This was very bad. Mae had to get out while she was still unnoticed

Apparently Brinley didn't respect Rae's authority.
"Should I be going? Far be it me to miss an actual important meeting to lounge about this empty room with you."
