Rae really couldn't understand the loss of one mudblood loving fool. In her mind it was better, not only for her family but the wizarding society in general. That's what they really needed, all of those filthy mudbloods to just 'get lost'.

Though it was rather inconvenient to have to be waken up and have to search for the girl. Utterly unnecessary and annoying.

She was working on her work from that day and glanced up as she heard a voice directed at her. Ah Dylan Mason. He had nothing to worry about at the moment because she believed him to be of the right mind frame and blood. Though maybe he did have something to be wary of. After all finding the juicy gossip and even ruining lives was something that she enjoyed doing. And she wouldn't even hesitate to turn on a 'friend' of hers if she needed to.

"Hello. Do you need any help? It has been my best class," she replied with a bit of curiosity. Her homework could wait for a second.

"Oh, no, I'm fine," Dylan said, pushing his essay aside. "It's my favorite class, too. I was mostly doing it because there's nothing else to do. It's like once you leave this common room, chaos reigns. Out there everyone's all, 'Oh, no, good heavens!' like it's the end of the world or something." He scoffed. "At least in here, people are, you know, sane."

He sat up a little straighter, having always been taught to treat people like Rae (who was, to say, "the right sort of person," as his father had put it) with respect. He somehow doubted if sitting lopsided with his legs swung over the arm rest counted as dignified.

"I'd like to be able to step outside of my common room without suddenly getting the urge to vomit, you know?"

Okay, in retrospect, bringing up vomit wasn't a good idea.

Rae couldn't help when her mouth twisted into a half smirk at his impression of everyone outside of their common room. It was almost perfect from her point of view. "Thank heavens for that," she agreed, looking around the common room before grimacing. "If anyone started that up in here I would start thinking someone had drugged the water or some nonsense such as that."

She wasn't exactly pleased by the thought of vomit, who would be, but she understood the impulse. Though if she were to walk out of the common room and encounter one of those people she would probably want to hex them instead.

But then again that was her personal preference.

"It just makes leaving that much more joyous I suppose," she said with a shrug. "Knowing you never have to deal with the filth here again."

Dylan shook his head wryly. "Not to disagree, Rae," he said, "but the filth are just as prevalent out there," he said, waving his hand to indicate the outside of the castle. "They're everywhere. It's disgusting."

Dylan was very happy that he didn't believe in a higher power, because he was pretty sure that if there was a God of some sort, he'd be getting hit by lightening bolts right about now.

"But you're right," he added, not wanting to disrespect her. Respect other purebloods, that's what he was taught. "At least once we leave we can...I don't know, avoid them a bit more easily. Here they make us sit in the same room with them." He gave a shudder for effect and schooled his face into a mask of disgust.
