Tom was starting to get annoyed with Margie. He wanted to speak with her about what had happened last week, yet she kept walking away from him. Classes would have been his other choice but he didn't want to confront Margie in front of her mates. For the time being though, Tom'd given up hope and decided that Margie just didn't fancy him, like he did her.

Calling the library a safe place from Tom was the worst statement ever made. He practically lived there whenever he had free time. So when Tom found Margie surrounded by books, he promptly gathered up his belongings and took a seat next to her. He didn't want to chase her down today, so Tom decided it was best to "take it easy."

"Hey," Tom said, as if nothing had happened last week...just yet.

It was good for Tom that Margie didn't notice him walking to take a seat next to her, otherwise he really would have to chase her down today. She was just not good with the situation, awkward, embarrassed and didn't know how to act! Was that so bloody bad?

She did notice when he sat down next to her though and she mentally started freaking out. What was he doing here? Was she supposed to do something? Did he want to talk? What if he just said it was this whole mistake and didn't want anything to do with her? Bugger bugger bugger that was it wasn't it?

But she managed to keep her outer self calm, which almost seemed like she was ignoring him. Except for the fact that she said, "Hey." No matter what she wouldn't fully ignore him, even if she really wanted to do that. Why was this such a mess?

Ignoring him was not acceptable. Especially when Tom was making such an effort not to turn as red as a tomato and stay there without having a repeat of last week as well. Fancying someone was a difficult thing, it was!

After sitting there for a few minutes, biting his lip and not knowing what to say, Tom finally snatched up Margie's book from her and turned to face her. "Please look at me," Tom pleaded. He didn't know what else to say but if Margie would atleast look at him for more than 3 seconds Tom's be able to say what he really wanted to.

"Don't ignore me. I don't like not being in your life and I've had to deal with that all week - it's starting to tear me up."

Margie hadn't been able to concentrate on her book. She just sat there staring at the pages, reading the same four words over and over and over. Him being this close to her was messing with her brain. She couldn't take it. It was driving her insane. Whether it was because of last week or because she finally realized that she did sort of fancy him, she didn't know. She really didn't want to bloody know either!

When he took her book away she just sat staring at the place that it used to be, trying not to look at him. She couldn't do it, she couldn't handle this, this wasn't happening. Merlin why?

She took a deep breath and looked at him though, trying to summon up some courage that she had. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't...I didn't mean to. I..."

Trailing off, she bit her lip and looked down at her hands, nervously fiddling with her hands. She was facing him and trying to not ignore him. She was at least trying.
