After checking that she couldn't be seen, Emilia laid out on the grass the pieces of glass she had rescued from the corridor outside the Great Hall. She sat down on the grass to wait for Ophelia and looked up at the late September sunshine with a smirk on her face. This, she decided, was definitely the best way to start the term. She really could not wait to see the faces of Lycroft and Cohen when they laid eyes on her's and Opehlia's handiwork. That'd teach them to insult a Hawthorn. Turning her attention back to the task in hand, she reached into her pocket and felt for her wand. Still there, good. Now all she needed was a broom and a suitably unhinged co-conspirator. Whereever had Ophelia got to?
