Week Name/Date/Time: 'Minister Maladies' / Monday, 21th February 2006 / Morning (after breakfast/before first class) Location: Slytherin Common Room Open To: Rae Currently Involving: James
Rae was coming down from her dorm, checking to make sure that all of her books were in her bag. It would do her absolutely no good to go down to Study Hall only to find out that she had left the homework she had strategically planned to do during this period. Though everything seemed to be in perfect order, which put her in a good mood. Nothing like starting out the day with everything in order.
Looking up as she heard someone enter the common room and raised an eyebrow as she caught sight of James. Idle conversation would be something of use now, so she wasn't stuck with horrible yapping kids for the few minutes before the silence commenced. "Hello James."
"Morning Rae," James returned the greeting, still keeping his eyes peeled for his bag. With his luck, some kid had gone off and thrown it in the lake or something equally ridiculous and pain inducing. Excuses were such a pain to make. "Seen my bag anywhere, by any chance?" He asked, striding over to a chair only to find nothing behind it. Bah.
It wasn't like the bloody thing was able to sprout legs and wander off, now was it? ...or was it?
"Your bag?" Rae deadpanned, letting her face remain blank as she watched him look around. Who would leave their bag around here? Well she wasn't about to wonder how one would do that, so she just decided to go along with it. Maybe they would find his bag.
Looking around her, she took a step to the side looking behind a table. "No can't say that I have. You're positive you left it down here?"
"Yes, my bag. You know, those things that carry books? Usually made of material?" James eyed the girl, perhaps the potion had done more to her mind than previously thought. He glanced around the room and nodded. Of course he'd left it here, why wouldn't he? Did other people not leave their bags in the common room? How awkward.
He dropped onto a seat and sighed. It was still far too early for this. "I did yeah, but...ah leave it, I'll find it later. How've you been?" James relaxed slightly and looked up at Rae with interest. Was he going to have to have words with Dari?
