A great deal was on the mind of Slytherin's prefect. A great deal indeed.
He had a few days to go before this...date...thing, and already it seemed like those aware of Shihoko's attraction to him were smirking and nodding approvingly. It gave Will the disorientated feeling of being ganged up on, every last one of them set on playing the part of matchmaker. Even Andra! She was a nice girl, anyway...maybe he was just thinking about it too much. Everyone knew the less you had to think about a thing, the happier you'd be concerning said matter, right?
So a distraction was called for, and since he couldn't explore the castle so well with everyone milling about, the second option that occurred to him was a fairly simple one: check up on things in the library. He DID have a few subjects he wanted to study up on...
The problem being, a good deal of what he wanted lay in the Restricted Section, and it was tricky either sneaking in there, or getting a signed slip. He'd give one last go at finding what he wanted outside, but if it couldn't be found...well, appropriate measures would be taken, wouldn't they?
It so happened that what he was looking for lay near the Restricted Section, by coincidence, and it was here the dark-haired boy could be found, eyes speeding along the shelves and scanning the block-lettered spines, chewing on the inside of his lip thoughtfully as he did so.
