Ah, lunch. Something Troy Frogley always looked forward to, of course. He didn't know why so many other students complained about the "heavy Hogwarts food." Meat and potatoes and trifle ( Read more... )

Andi was feeling quite full. She always did, after lunch at Hogwarts. She didn't know why they always insisted on serving such heavy foods at mid-day! Who wants to stuff themselves with sodding meat and fattening potatoes everyday? Really, she wished they'd offer a simple salad every once in a while, so she wouldn't have to feel like a stuffed pig everytime she leaves the Great Hall ( ... )

Salad, meat, whatever was put in front of him, Troy downed in a second. He knew he wouldn't put on weight, and wasn't very concerned about it. Of course, he didn't see a reason to even worry. Fat or skinny, meh, he didn't care.

Though it did make it difficult when he tried to climb the stairs and felt his stomach all full. Minor inconvenience, of course. He really only felt tired and lazy when he was full of food.

Mid-yawn, he spun around to see Andi. Eyes wide with surprise, he smirked and clasped his hand around his mouth. "Oh of course, love. Painfully sorry, I am," he chuckled and gave a little polite bow, something VERY un-Troy-like. After all, this was Cockney London bloke. Not a refined, ettiquette-trained gentleman. AT all. "And how might you be this. . .lovely day?" he asked in an overdone hoity-toity accent.

Andi smiled in satisfaction as Troy did as she asked and covered his mouth. She enjoyed having that power over people, even if it's not completely serious. Andi also liked to think that she had a particular hold over this boy. She was sure he was sharper than he seemed, he was a Ravenclaw afterall, but you never knew with Troy!

She laughed at his response, and his bow. Really, she thought it was completely cute, but she would not have admitted that to herself. She laughed even more at his exaggerated accent. One thing was for certain, if anyone could make Andi crack up, it was Troy. "Oh, you know, except for feeling like I just put on half my weight, I am quite fine," she retorted, in her best impression of the most proper accent. "And you?"

Troy most likely was a bit sharper than most, but of course the Quidditch dominance overshadowed any academic triumph. Along with utter nonchalance and apathy towards his classes, he really did seem like the clueless jock. However, he was extremely gullible, and his instant politeness to the seventh year girl really showed this.

Keeping the accent, something very far from the working class accent of his home, he sashayed a bit over to Andi and held his arm bent out. Ah, true gentleman, really. "Ah, just a bit of heavy greasy Hogwarts food, really. Over six years, you must have gotten used to it by now!"

"Why lovely of you to ask, darling, I am better, whenever you're near." Which was true. Though many people could do that as well. His previous week had been positively dreadful, and he was still a bit mopey about it, but if something good was able to distract him, it took his mind off of the negative temporarily.
