Dari was being very, very stealthy as she stole a couple of glances over from where she was standing with James near the entrance. They had decided that today was definitely the day for pulling their prank and she was nervous, but confident that they'd manage it.

James would be providing a distraction, of course, while she slipped the potion into the girl's drink. This was going to be brilliant. The perfect revenge and a great pick-me-up after being forced from her common room by that stupid ice storm.

She looked over at James and grinned. "Ready?"

James was grinning rather wickedly, the Canary Cream safely tucked away in his pocket. Oh, he was far too excited by this! It seemed just the slightest bit disappointing, putting the plan into action, but he was eager to see the fruits of his labours. Besides... people needed cheered up, right? What better way to go about it than a little bit of fun?

He glanced over at Dari, nodding just a bit. "Oh, definitely," he said in a mischevious tone. "I've got my victim all picked out and everything. Are you ready?"

The thought of some kind of pathetic revenge attempt from Dari wasn't out of the question to Adriana, and she was a tad surprised that the Ravenclaw had yet to really try anything. That fight with Jeremy hardly counted as any kind of retaliation.

Nevertheless, this morning Adriana really wasn't on the look-out for her or any other of her little friends. She was actually getting rather bored, and with a glance to her watch, would probably be heading out once having more of the muffin on her plate.

Dari nodded, a slightly nervous smile on her face as she clutched the vial of potion.

"As I'll ever be," she whispered, chancing a glance over to the Slytherin table. Oh, this just had to work, because Dari refused to accept any other alternative.

She bit her lip anxiously and nodded her head again. "Now or never, yeah?"

James snorted a litle as he slowly took a sip from his goblet. Oh, how hard the mighty could fall! It was almost too good to be true. It made the wheels in his head turn a little more and... well, maybe he could have a little more fun with those stuck up Purebloods, eh?

He glanced around a bit, wanting to remember this day to the best of his ability. His eyes fell to the Ravenclaw table and he raised a hand slightly to motion to her, without being too obvious about it. Hey, getting caught? Not part of the plan.
