Dorian was a bit annoyed with the whole assigning, too. How was he supposed to gain information if all the good Aurors were leaving? It was bloody hard as it was, now he’d have to rely on teachers and a few students to find out how strong Dumbledore’s side really was.

This morning, he decided to be a bit of a bum. He’d slept in a bit and conjured his own breakfast, and hadn’t bothered to change out of his pajama pants. Hearing a knock on the door, Dorian looked up from the report he was reading and walked over, not caring who saw him like this at the moment.

“Miss Winters!” he said, rather surprised. “Pleasure seeing you here so early. Anything I can help you with?”

Adriana glanced down at herself while waiting for a response, flicking off a piece of loose fuzz on the sleeve of her robes. She knew her appearance here was unannounced, but only hoped he wouldn't be too angry with her for simply showing up.

"Morning, Mr. Grace," she greeted, looking up with a light smile. "Actually yes... I don't mean to disturb you.." Adriana replied, slightly losing her focus as she noticed what Dorian was wearing. "I was curious to know if you were leaving," she said quickly, not exactly meaning to blurt it out in one go. Crossing her arms lightly, she gave him a polite smile, standing where she was casually.

Dorian smirked, now quite pleased he had decided to be lazy for the first time in his life. Meeting Adriana Winters at his door with only pants on would hopefully result in something good. Fun, too.

“Leaving?” he asked with raised eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest. “I’m sorry, leaving where?” Dorian, obviously, was completely obivious as to what she meant. His head was too full of arrogance to make room for rational thought at the moment.

Adriana would agree at Dorian's statement about deciding to be lazy, as she most definitely didn't expect him to answer his door like that. Especially when she wasn't trying to find him for the more common reasons. But, no complaints, of course.

"The castle, I mean," she expanded on her original statement, looking quizzically at Dorian. Surely he must know of the situation with the others? "Two of the aurors are leaving, and there are possibly more to follow. I was curious if you were as well." Adriana said, forcing her gaze to stay above his neck.

Dorian smirked against Adriana’s lips, allowing himself to be shoved back against the couch. He kept his arms limp t his sides as he was silently instructed to, only arching his neck a bit to give her a better angle. He liked this new style she was using, like he had no control of the situation. Than again, at the moment, he didn’t. Adriana loomed in front of him, arm keeping his from moving to that side. The other was very close to the fireplace, that certainly wasn’t an option.

But he had no intention of making a run for it.

Dorian matched her gentle pace, though snogged her back soundly. He was perfectly able to deliver an amazing snog, even if he wasn’t able to use any other part of his body.

There was no doubt in Adriana's mind that Dorian was skilled in snogging, even while using nothing else. He proved that every time they had one of their... err, meetings.

She kept their current snog going, using their usual passion but not the force, this time. Adriana was quite pleased with this new style as well, even if it was an improvised move. "I have to go," she muttered against his lips after a few moments, gently starting to break away from the kiss. "Study Hall," she added with a low groan.

She didn't necessarily want to go, but at the same time, Adriana hoped it would keep Dorian somewhat anxious for the next time they could snog.

Dorian didn’t reply. Instead, his hand flew to the back of Adriana’s head, pulling her back down to his lips roughly. He kissed her hard this time, making up for all the time they’d miss with her going to class.

Finally he released his hold on her, mumbling against her lips. “It was wonderful chatting with you, Miss Winters.”

Adriana was completely unprepared when Dorian moved and pulled her down, and she practically fell right onto him as he kissed her roughly. She gladly returned the forceful snog with a smirk, unable to resist something this good.

"Wonderful," she repeated in a breathless voice, leaning off of Dorian and standing up off the couch. Although she felt slightly dizzy at the moment, Adriana composed herself entirely and walked to his door. "Good day, Mr. Grace," she said to him with a smile.

Well, Adriana wanted to leave Dorian wanting more. She hoped he did, but was certain it had worked on her.
